So I decided to try out EB-lite. Over all I'm pleased with it, but I did run 
into some minor problems.

When loading ebqt initially, pressing the add button, or the add from the edit 
menu did nothing. The add contact/account/group dialog did not show. This is 
a bit of a problem as any casual passer-by has no hope at all at using eb 
(and ye ye I know its alpha). I had to connect to the server manually and 
issue a dummy "add_local_account" command, once a dummy local account was 
setup, the add button worked fine, and I was able to delete the dummy. 
Deleting the everybuddy.conf file, rendered the same problem. I tried the 
latest snapshot as of today, and alpha 9 (but I have a feeling I tried 8 and 
gave up as well).

So is this just me being stupid, or does this happen to anyone else?
