Been there from alpha-1 :-) You can either copy the cookie manually into the boxes from the first line of core output (those numbers it prints out on startup are the cookie), or copy ~/.everybuddy/authcookie into ~/.everybuddy/ on your laptop. Then, all you need to do is change the hostname field to your main computer, and hit connect. And yes, I'm looking at streamlining this - do you have any thoughts about how this could be made easier?
