The idea is, if you're sitting in group chats for ages, or have another reason to have conversations open for a long time, you can then just have this one window which, e.g., you can maximise to easily get best use of screen space without fiddling with 2 window positions. > The problem I have been seeing in the latest trunk is the following > everytime I try and send a message no matter which protocol. > > EbQtTextEdit::text(): Not implemented yet Eeeek! What Qt version are you using? (Help -> About Qt) Please try with at least 3.1. If 3.1 works and 3.0 doesn't, I think it might be time to end support for 3.0, since it seems to lead to a whole bundle of subtle problems that can't be detected until a feature simply doesn't work. :-/ -- Chris Boyle - http://cmb.is-a-geek.org/ GPG: B7D86E0F, MSN: [email protected], ICQ: 24151961, AIM: kerneloops, Yahoo: kerneloops, IRC: cmb on freenode.net
