Sometime Today, Joseph Birthisel assembled some asciibets to say:

> libtoolize: `configure.in' does not exist

you'll need a newer version of libtool.  The version that you use is 
looking for configure.in instead of configure.ac.  Get at least version 
1.4.2 of libtool.
