Hey all, Although I'm still being held prisoner by my school IT systems, I finished the first draft of my UCAS form (University applications, for those lucky enough to have avoided it), and felt like rewarding myself, so I've written my first code so far this term. Boy does it ever feel good :^) Soooo, we now have a new web interface. It's completely HTML, so it should work in any browser which supports iframes. It sits in a Java servlet container like Tomcat, and talks to an EB-Lite core on any host. I'll get screenies up when I have the access :) However, as things currently stand, I can't even upload it to the server, yet alone deploy and/or test it, so I'd like to ask a favour: Is there someone out there, with shell access to www.everybuddy.com or shell.lazzurs.net, who wouldn't mind (a) uploading a tarball of this interface and releasing it, and (b) deploying it there for me? I'd have to email you the (very small) tarball, with instructions for setting it up, and where to do it. Although I may periodically update this (if it works, and I can find someone to deploy it so I can test it properly), I'm afraid I'm still to be considered incommunicado for as long as the school remains locked down (which could be a couple of weeks yet, maybe even a month). As it stands, I can't even use SVN to commit my changes, so I'm unfortunately in no position to do any development. Sorry, everyone. I've tried! Meredydd
