Recent eb-lite dailies and Subversion

I've tried some of the recent daily builds, and the current bleeding version
in subversion, and I can't get it to build on a recent gentoo box. There are
two essential problems. The first is that the scripts force it to build with
the flag -no-cpp-precomp, which is apparently only legal on OSX boxes. I
beleive that is actually only a warning, though, so I'm not too worried. The
more critical issue is that the libyahoo2 .h files have different prototypes
from the .c files, and the .h version appears to be what is actually being
used in the yahoo code.
To work around this, I tried setting it up to build with the latest libyahoo2,
but it seems quite dependant on having it's own version of the files. It
certainly won't link to one in /usr/local/lib and /usr/local/include... The
main thing blocking me from allowing that is that the yahoo plugin seems to
depend on having the yahoo_utils.h code, which is not designed to be exported
from libyahoo2.
Does anybody have any suggestions on what I should do to fix this?
