Personally, I think that a fat warning at the time is good - probably as 
*well* as a message at the end (stuff tends to get lost in ./configure 
scrollback, even if you're looking).

Indeed! I really ought to get around to allowing libMSN to take any SSL 
lib it likes. Need to check the licensing problems though.
