This is being posted using a download of HL2004.94 that I ran 
this morning. I would assume that I am using default settings 
whatever those may be. I hope the post will be identical with my 
stored copy.  I am really grateful for all your assistance but 
what I like to know is how to fix things or set them up 
*myself*. It is proving rather difficult to show what I wanted 
to know earlier since, in default of hard information, the only 
alternative seemed to be uninstalling and re-installing and even 
that was not easy :-)

Difficulties are to be expected, I guess, for a beta program but 
it's been that way for quite a while!
