Almost no ideas. And the native Outlook Express works Ok? It might depend on 
an antiviral tool, or a firewall, or anything which installs its hook dll 
inside the OE/FL. But FL itself is so thin... it can't add any brakes to the 
standard OE.

Maybe you stopped the Private Storage service, but if affects FL only on 
startup.
