Re: xcode build fails

Jason and I have also seen this issue when doing the build from the 
command line (using xcode install)

The crash has occurred in various locations.  Initially we thought it 
might be due to different compilers, or different optimization levels 
used when building from the command line, but changes to force it to 
use the same compiler and compression still yielded an executable that 
would always crash.

This leads us to believe that there are some bugs in the xcode/compiler 
combo when building from the command line.

Has anyone else had success with this?
