Gentlemen and ladies (we do have some on this list, don't we?),
The time has come. Fire's collection of help files have to be redone,
because in the last year, almost everything has changed. Many of the
files we currently ship are more than outdated, they are flat-out
wrong. In order to have a real 1.0 release we can be proud of, the help
needs to be brought up to date, and that essentially means it must be
rewritten and greatly expanded.
Toward that end, I have come up with an outline for the new help. I
based it roughly on the iTunes help (which is quite good) and the
guidelines I found here:
http://tinyurl.com/278zt
The next step is to flesh out this outline and then divvy up the
sections so I don't have to write it all myself. :-)
Your comments are greatly appreciated. If you've got an interest in a
certain category, let me know so I can coordinate people and get you
some template files (those will be changing too).
Let's get this show on the road so we can ship!
