MSN buddies - Mac Messenger works

Hi:

I too have been stung by my online buddies disappearing (version 
0.32.j).  At first, I was going through
a continuous connect/disconnect cycle.  The "defaults" fix seemed to 
take care of that, but then my online
buddies never showed up.

So I tried using Mac Messenger 3.2.  Ugly interface (relative to Fire, 
that is), but my online buddies do show up.
Maybe this will help you developers track down the problem.
