I want to go to one that already exists, instead of making a new one. 
For example, there is a "permanent" AlephOne chat on AIM, kind of like 
an IRC chat room, where there is always people chatting about Aleph One 
stuff. To join it with iChat, I'd go to File->Go to Chat...

Fire doesn't have this option.
