Currently (1.0.x) you have to use raw HTML to do this. Just start your 
profile with <html> then you can do the usual <a 
href="http://fire.sf.net"> sort of thing. In this case the formatting 
on your text is ignored.

We plan to add a better UI for this in a future release.
