To be honest, none of us is a heavy ICQ user, so there may be some 
problems there.  One potential solution is to remove your ICQ account 
from Fire and then add it again.  That will cause it to download your 
entire buddy list from the server the next time you connect.

Let us know if you can track down some consistent behavior that causes 
buddies to dissappear!
