View menu: Disable Tab Auto Resize
Command key: Cmd-Sft-T.

It expands when you move the mouse into the tab area.  If you contract  
the tabs so they are very small, this becomes useful, but the feature  
is disabled by default because it is annoying to some.

This command key hides and shows the tabs in the Adium Style and the  
Drawer Style.
