MSN Messenger problems

I just bought a new Mac, and set about installing Fire. I downloaded  
version 1.5.1, but I'm having problems logging into the MSN server.  
Yahoo and AIM are fine, but as soon as I try to log into MSN, Fire  
quits on me.

Is there something I need to do to fix this?
