hi,

1st result w/ beta ...

2 chat clients:


(1) Fire 1.5.4b installed on osx 10.4.2
    logged in as [email protected] @ talk.google.com
(2) Kopete on KDE 3.4/SuSE 9.3
    logged in as [email protected] @ talk.google.com

on client (1), attempt to chat to (2)
Fire shows (2) as 'offline'
can't seem to invite/request auth from client (2) by any mechanism ...

on client (2), chat to client (1)
AUTH REQUEST dialog shows up on OSX/Fire
click OK
2-way chat now possible


we apparently need a mech to send an auth from a fire client to another client=20
...

or have i missed something?
