Yeah, Fire just doesn't seem to work on Yahoo! IM at the moment. I 
was having the same problem.

Apparently, Trillian.cc released some updated modules today for, 
among other things, Yahoo! IM, so there must've been some protocol 
change that Fire doesn't yet cope with.
