Certainly RTFM <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM> has a long history of use in these situations, and the 'F' need not necessarily be F**king, but could easily be a less offensive word in one's mind if one so chooses. It's the sentiment expressed that is important, and RTFM does so most efficiently - which I like.
