Blocking sockets in file transfers

File transfers seem to be blocking (I know I recieved a file once, and 
I killed fire because it wasn't responding, and seem to have half of 
the fire. So it was blocking while downloading?).

More annoying is that the connection takes 60 seconds to timeout, so 
I'm stuck here waiting until that happens.

Also, 0.32.h still seems to have the tons-of-ICQ-error-windows bug, 
which is annoying when my connection drops (I thought this was fixed?). 
The strange thing is that other networks don't pop up dialogs when 
there's a connection error.

My last 'crash' was because of all the swapping that happened (I 
decided it was faster to reboot, fsck and all, and had 11 swapfiles to 
show for it).
