The passwords are stored in your keychain. Maybe you have a corrupt keychain (happened to me once). You may to try deleting Fire's passwords out of your keychain, and re-enter the passwords (be sure to check the save box). My case was bad enough that I had to trash my keychain and start it over. Hopefully you will not be in that case, but it may be possible.
