No, you have to have the US country code. I tried it both ways and only the one the the 1 works. And from looking at mymobile.aol.com, it looks as if AIM and AOL automatically add the +1 for you. But either way, thanks! Got it working. But getting the MSN one to work would be helpful for the people who don't use AIM and use Fire. Also, a menu option with similar to the one on the mymobile.aol.com would be handy. Say a menu option labeled "AIM to Mobile Text" and when you opened it up, there appears a window with say a pull down menu for country codes, and then a spot of area codes and phone numbers and it automatically opens a IM window with the +(yada yada yada). This might help clear a lot of confusion, because as y'all are well aware, I for one wasn't aware of this feature in AIM. I only knew of the one on MSN where you have a pref to put in your mobile number, and people can just SMS you by right clicking on your name or chosing "Send Message to Mobile Device" in the menus.
