Connection to AIM Fails on some networks

I've got fire setup with my three accounts (AIM, Yahoo, ICQ) all set to connect with port 80. It works fine on most networks, but there are a couple where the AIM connection doesn't go through. I've tired with Oscar and TOC. Not information appears in the console window. If I run the official AIM client on port 80, it works fine.
