i noticed this last night... it has to do with buddies added via the 'normal' clients as far as i can tell. that is ... the buddies repeatedly showing up as 'blocked buddies' were the buddies i added using the "real" ICQ client. unblocking them would move them out of that 'blocked buddies' group but they would show up there again the next time i launched Fire. i tried moving/ deleting them using the normal ICQ client and that didn't make any difference either. but... this is what worked: 1) turn to 'showing all' mode on the buddies list 2) go to one of the buddies showing up in the blocked buddies group 3) right-click and select 'edit buddy...' from the list 4) in the buddy-editing window select the 'accounts' tab 5) in the 'privacy' dropdown in the 'accounts' tab... select 'account default' (all my bad ones had 'allow buddy' selected) 6) click the save button 7) back in the buddies list... right-click and 'unblock buddy'... buddy should now be out of the 'blocked buddies' group and back into your normal unblocked buddy list and shoudl not go *back* into the 'blocked buddies' group automatically. i forget exactly... but i might have actually done step #7 *before* step #2... try both ways if the above listed order does not work. i noticed this with ICQ and Yahoo! accounts only. i rarely add buddies via the normal clients so i only had a few 'bad' ones... i don't know if it happens to AIM and MSN buddies. is the "refresh buddies" menu item supposed to sync buddy lists with their respective services? when i run it then quit fire and open 'normal' ICQ... i see no updated buddies or deleted buddies changes... or anything. or does this only work on *some* services? hope that helps. zeb./ > Futhermore: > > Several of my buddies now appearing in blocked buddies are ALSO showing > up as normal in their groups. > > Several blocked buddies are showing up in Default Group.
