Jabber on Fire Daily build v0.99.1

I downloaded via CVS and compiled that latest .99.1 development release of Jabber today to take a look at the new interface and have found problems with the Jabber side of things. When you disconnect from Jabber, Fire crashes and also it does not seem to correctly connect. The Jabber server I use requires an SSL connection and using the same account setup within Fire .32i works without a problem, yet when I start the .99.1 release it says connected but the server does not see me connected, and no buddies appear online. Not sure if this is a known problem or not.
