CVS IS FIXED!!!!!!!

You likely changed the server in your accounts setup. Edit
Library/Application Support/Fire/Accounts.plist and make sure that you
have the server set to scs.msg.yahoo.com and not scs.yahoo.com

I just logged into my yahoo account with CVS, launched the official,
logged in there, and was kicked on fire. It does work if you use the
correct server.
