Re: Text messaging...

There is another important detail here.  Fire 1.0 is interface frozen 
for the localizers.  That means that we can't change the interface in 
any way that involves words.  So the real question boils down to for 
1.0, should SMS buddies show up as online, or offline.

Such dialogs and other things can be considered for post-1.0.
