Fire colors

I don't want to send outgoing text colors, because people may have
non-default backgrounds.
I don't want to receive outgoing text colors, because I can't read
black-on-black.
The default settings seem to screw up with Yahoo (outgoing
black-on-white, incoming default white-on-black). Incoming text shows
up as black-on-black. Also, somehow, outgoing text shows up as
black-on-black (this is only with Yahoo, it seems).
I can change my background to white (this defeats the whole purpose of
allowing the user to set a background color), or I can force text to be
white-on-black. My text still does not show, so I have to send white
text, which nobody else can read.
The 'override colors' button should also override the colors you send.
The color boxes beside the checkbox should also never be disabled
(because they set the default color, which matters regardless of
whether you normally override colors or not). It'd also be nice if
there was an "Override default colors" (i.e. any text color close to
white or black).
And there should be a "Do not send colors". I don't want to send
colors. Or, at least, "always send default colors" ("default" being
defined by the service's client's default, if there is one).
And changing the background color with chat windows open should not
mess up the "Nick (11:22:33): " background (specifically, it doesn't
change the background).
I guess I should file a bug. I don't see a 'submit bug' button on the
bugs page though.
