MSN problem - official response?

Hi, I, along with many others (evidenced by the number of reports to this list) have been having a problem with MSN where buddies do not show up in the list, and messages cannot be sent to other MSN users. As far as I can see there has been no response to this problem from the Fire developers.. is this problem being looked at? It effectively disables MSN for many Fire users. I love Fire and I don't want to have to use Microsoft's client =) Let me know if there's anything I can do to help, debug-wise.
