I'm sorry that things are not working for you (and all the others who have complained). It appears that there are several issues at work and I'm not sure we have a full understanding of everything yet. Here's a summary: 1) in 0.32.j I neglected to turn on SyncMSNLists by default as is the case in 0.99.2. For some a workaround of turning it on using the defaults command has worked. For others it has not worked. 2) First problem is people complain of being disconnected and reconnected constantly. This is likely due to the reconnect on forced disconnect pref. I would suggest turning it off for now on 0.32.j. 3) Second problem is no buddies showing online. This could be due to changes in the way the buddy list is represented (the MSN library we use was never updated to properly deal with groups and it's possible that this is now coming back to bite us). 4) If buddies do not show up as online, we do not allow messages to be sent to them. While usually this is the right policy, it seems that we need to allow this since the user could be invisible. Also, if we're getting no buddy list but can at least stay connected this would allow communication with anyone that starts a chat with you. 5) We have no keepalive timer to send pings once every minute or so, so some people have complained of being disconnected after a few minutes of being idle. There's probably more to it, but as you can see there is a bit of work to be done here. I have not personally experienced the connect/disconnect cycle, but I have see problems with buddies showing up on my passport MSN account. My hotmail MSN account is working at the moment (though I suspect when we add buddies that does not actually work, and I just have the right MSN buddies already in the server list). -Jason
