I think this is a good plan, for all the reasons stated. Yeah, XML is a 
bit of a pig to parse, but there are good tools out there to do it. 
Easy to get it into a database if that's your cup of tea (long term 
archiving/searching is a good thing, IMO). So yeah, sounds good.

This is, of course, assuming that Fire will still have a handy and easy 
to use conversation history browser built in. I don't want to have to 
read my logs in Safari.
