We are on the latest released version of libicq2000 which does not 
support updating the server side list. From what I've heard the later 
CVS versions have some support for this but it is still not as solid as 
we would like.

Our longer term plan is to convert ICQ to use libfaim like AIM-oscar 
does which would give us this and other features with very little work 
since we already have them in AIM-oscar: file transfer, typing 
notification, etc.

Of course... this is a nontrivial task in terms of doing the conversion 
but it's probably less work than trying to add all that functionality 
to libicq2000.
