Unable to Connect to jabber server Error Code -1

Hi there:

I didn't spot this with a search of the list archives so I figure 
hitting the list was the next best thing.

At some point my installation of Fire on my home desktop machine ceased 
being able to connect to the jabber server it's been connecting to for 
the past year or so.   I have no trouble connecting to other services 
that I use such as Yahoo and AIM from the home desktop machine.

Just for clarification, I use Fire on the following machines...

- HOME desktop
- HOME laptop
- WORK desktop

Same Fire version on all of them 1.0 ( I did try upping to 1.0.1 but 
that changed nothing, same with rolling back to older versions)
Same Mac OSX Panther on all of them

On the HOME Laptop and WORK desktop, I have no trouble connecting the 
the jabber server - which has usually been specified just by providing 
the port 5223 for SSL ... checking or unchecking the new SSL checkboxes 
seem to make no difference.

I don't believe this to be a firewall issue, but is there anything I 
should check for in that regards?  Also, is it possible that something 
got whacked with Fires support files during an update from Jaguar to 
Panther?  What would I look for in that situation.  I honestly haven't 
really used jabber than much from the HOME desktop since I upgraded it 
to Panther, so that may be the point at which it broke.

Any troubleshooting advice is appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
