huh.  i still can't figure out the problem.  i have
1.0.1.  i don't have a firewall, though my company
does, so i changed to port number 80.  jabber works. 
yahoo-through-a-jabber-server works, but it doesn't
notify me of emails like i thingk the yahoo module
would.  msn works.  but yahoo always hangs at
connection.
