But isn't that the purpose of an "announce" list?  You only get 
announcements when there is actually some news?

I appreciate this announce list.  It doesn't clog up my mail box with 
non-news items, and I don't have to be psychic to know *when* there 
is news.  Most people complain of too much mail in their inbox; but 
complaining of not enough ???
