The announce list is meant to be a very low traffic list for us to post
notifications of new versions of Freenet, and occasionally other
critically important Freenet news. It is not meant as a general
discussion board. There are other forums for this - the support, tech,
devl, and chat lists. I apologize on behalf of myself and the project,
for letting these posts through, which was due to a misunderstanding
with mailman's configuration, and especially for letting the virus
through, which was caused by a virus spoofing ian's address. ALL mails
to this list will now be authorized manually. Thank you for your time.

Now, to more pleasant things, since you're reading this mail anyway:
The network was reset several times recently. Currently the last good
build is 5099. Upgrade to this if you haven't already and are running a
node. This has many fixes relating to inserts, and feedback has been
good. We are still some way away from 0.6-rc1. We have also been working
on simulations of NGRouting recently.
