We recently added what should be a significant improvement to the way Freenet decides what information to cache called "probabistic caching". This should significantly decrease the number of "data not found" errors, and also speed up requests in the network - however we will only start to see its effects when most of the network has upgraded to the most recent snapshot, so I am requesting that everyone upgrade to the latest Freenet snapshot. This is easy in both Linux and Windows. In Windows, click "Update Snapshot" in the Freenet section of your Start menu. In Linux, stop Freenet, run the update.sh script in your Freenet directory, then start Freenet again.
