If not, then how about setting a deadline (like august 11th, in one week) and after that deadline checking how people perceive the value of redesigning the website. I’m pretty sure that the result will support paying 5k for the website, so this will just cause one week delay but we’ll have followed the process we set. You started this process and it was announced on the website — not at least looking at the results would look really bad.
