I didn’t yet investigate it in depth, but I glanced stored it in my paper
folder.

"Convincing somebody who ‘has nothing to hide’ of moving his
communications to an anonymity network is easier with the knowledge that
it helps protect those who depend on it." ← that sounds like the basics
idea of providing services over Freenet which would also work over the
clearnet.

The argument gets stronger by adding that Freenet provides an interface
between those who need its protection and those who don’t (or even those
parts of your communication which need it and those which don’t).
