I'm using Ubuntu 9.10. and newest Sun Java.

Frost worked fine to me until new kernel update today. After that I have th=
e same problem as described in one tread before with Frost hanging on "Init=
ializing mainframe".

Just tried to start Frost on 3 different ways:

1. Frost always normally started for me if I mark Frost.jar file in Nautilu=
s and choose "open with Sun Java" from menu. After kernel update I'm gettin=
g Problem described above (hanging on "Initializing mainframe")

2. If I start Frost from console (./frost.sh or :/frost-debug.sh) Frost cra=
shes before start without any particular error message in console or log fi=

Starting Frost 14-Mar-2009 (3093,release)

JVM : Sun Microsystems Inc.; 14.1-b02; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server =
VM
Runtime : Sun Microsystems Inc.; 1.6.0_15
OS : Linux; 2.6.31-20-generic; amd64
MaxMemory: 89522176

09.03.2010 12:58:13 frost.SettingsClass readSettingsFile
INFO: Read user configuration

3. If I start it as root (sudo ./frost.sh or sudo ./frost-debug.sh) Frost s=
tarts normally. Of course, without my preferences because user is root. =

So that must be some issue with user rights, but I don't know how to figure=
 it out.

I'm thankful for any Help and sorry for my bad English.
