In my case, it also hurts that I can't keep my node running continuously
for more than a few hours, because *something* (unidentified) that
Freenet does is still causing my Internet connection to go nuts.  When my
"watchdog" script fails to ping yahoo twice in a row (60 seconds apart),
it kills the node.

I don't consider that a Freenet bug -- but it's quite annoying.
