Pine does it too:

If you are asking questions in a forum that does not use your native
language, you will get a limited amount of slack for spelling and

So I'd say it is.  (It even cut the mail completely at that point)


  I suppose this could be some configuration error, or Pine brokenness.
But it's pretty much the standard config, and Pine is still common..
