Not generally. Some freesites use something called "ZIP manifests".
Which is basically:

ZIP your freesite into site.zip
Insert site.zip as SSK@<blah>,<blah2> (public url, your privkey will
be a different blah which you must keep secret).
Then you can request files as SSK@<blah>,<blah2>//<name of file in ZIP>
