That will certainly help, and is most definitely appreciated.

The other half of the rant relates to my suspicion that the UDP
NAT-hopping tricks will fail to work reliably on several kinds of
firewalls.  I have absolutely no evidence to support this apart from
this:

I've had this Dijjer node running for literally *months*, and there's
not a damned thing in the cache.  (There have been a few megabytes in
the cache at various times, but rearrangements of the cache have always
destroyed Dijjer's ability to use its own cached data, rendering the
cache empty once more.)

Last I heard, Freenet 0.7 was planning to use Dijjer's basic underlying
transport tricks.  I really hope they work.
