Take down notices on Bittorrent

It seems the movie studios have adopted a new tactic in the fight against
p2p. They are employing a company called BayTSP to scan the common P2P
networks for copyrighted material , especially new movie releases, being
uploaded ( note they arnt looking for downloaders , only uploaders. Of
cource on Bittorrent you are both !) . Now BayTSP claim they have
fingerprinted the files the look for ( hashed probably) so renaming or
modifiying slighly dosn't throw them off. They then snag your IP address and
fire off a nasty email to your ISP demanding your ISP stops you sharing
thier material. In my case the ISP caved in an sent me a "stop it" email
listing the details of the file they are objecting to.
SO the big question ... will this approach work on freenet ?
I would also suggest you get ready for an influx of filesharing addicts to
freenet as this is causing a lot of traffic in the forums and i have already
seen freenet being put forward as a solution to this attack :-) , it
certainly seems to be the ideal solution to me but i am no expert.
