Moving to Java 1.6 was Re: [freenet-support] Mac OSX 10.5 unable to connect since Freenet build 1372

Current freenet.jar's are built against Java 1.5. However, freenet-ext.jar is built against Java 1.6.

We have planned for a while to move to Java 1.6 anyway so it's probably best to just drop support for 1.5.

However, some Mac's have problems, as we see below.

Harry, you should be able to install Java 6 from here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL848

Then make sure you have it with:
java -version

If it has multiple versions installed try to remove the older ones, or change the path to java in wrapper.conf (let me know if this is necessary, if so it really sucks and maybe we need to do something about it).
