Mac OSX 10.5.8 - Freenet not starting 2

Hi, Further to my request for support with Freenet not starting, I note that when I use the tray to try starting the application, a file is created in my Freenet dir called "Freenet" with no extention. When the blue icon turns back to red on the tray (about 5-10 seconds) the file that was created disappears.
