It would be nice if there was a Status message warning if nss is not 
installed & configured and explaining how to do so.  I wonder how many 
node operators either missed the note below or forgot about it when 
configuring another node (I fall in the later category).

I wonder what other hidden performance enhancements are in Fred?  It 
would be nice if all of them had Status messages of their own.
