What aspect of netsukuku is it that you are asking about? Freenet can build a 
scalable darknet, in theory, on top of almost any means of connecting between 
you and each of your friends' nodes... some of these could be fixed wireless 
links, in the future it might even be possible to use high-latency transports 
such as exchanging USB keys, if we could find a way to swap location that 
didn't require real time connectivity...
